Legal and Ethical Issues
Information from articles and magazines should be open-access to the public. Any content on TV, movies, and music won't be open access due to copyright laws taking place. However, the content from those sources should be free for the public to see and hear so that it is easier to write college papers. The privilege of using the content must not be abused because some content is illegal to use without permissions. The article, (Piracy, Computer Crime, and IS misuse at the University) talks about the misuse of computer software. Statistics in the article state that many people majoring in CIS have misused software and data on computers. Some information on the internet should be left private, but most information should be safe to see without any suspicion of data misuse.
